Life circumstances can be very difficult and in order to process these hard times succesfully we need to understand what is the root of our stress and anxiety.
Men-Overcoming Destructive Behavior-A men’s group that focuses on overcoming destructive behaviors related to pornography, anger, and stress. We will focus on the Biblical Application of the Twelve Steps as we explore true surrender to Jesus, understanding root causes that drive us to act out in anger or turn to pornography, rebuilding trust, restoring integrity, and becoming the man of God that we were intended to be.
Women-"Conquering Co-dependency"-This group will help you recognize the painful problems of co-dependency, as well as the compulsion to fix everyone and everything. We will be using the book "Conquering Codependecy" by Pat Springle, 2015 updated edition. Take the quiz here
Women-"Boundaries"- Are you in control of your life? Do people take advantage of you? Do you have trouble saying no?
If you answered “yes” to these questions, then this workshop is for you.
“Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances -- Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions -- Emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others -- Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God's will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator -- Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations.
Reviving Your Marriage- This men's group teaches the principles and practices of intimacy in marriage and how we as men are to follow the Biblical role model of a Bondservant in marriage. If your marriage has grown cold and if you've lost the fun and excitement of sharing life with your spouse then this group is for you.
